- Comal County does NOT have a Statutory Probate Court - probate handled by County Courts at Law
- County Court at Law No. 1 (Judge Randy Gray) and County Court at Law No. 2 (Judge Charles A. Stephens II) handle probate
- Probate docket held on Wednesdays at 9:00 AM
- E-filing mandatory for attorneys since January 1, 2015
- Self-represented parties may file in person or by mail
- Wills must be filed within 3 business days after e-filing Application to Probate
- Death certificates required for all new probate cases
- Lobby closes at 4:30 PM; office closed Noon-1 PM daily
