Probate Filing Fees
| Filing Type | Fee |
|---|---|
Formal Administration Standard probate for larger estates | $165 |
Small Estate Affidavit For estates under threshold (no court filing needed) | $25 |
Note: Arkansas sets circuit court filing fees statewide. The uniform fee to open a probate (estate administration) case is $165 (Ark. Code 21-6-403, 21-6-416). The small estate affidavit (collection of small estate by distributee) costs $25 to file plus $3 per certified copy (Ark. Code 28-41-101). These statewide amounts apply in White County. Verify any local add-on fees and current amounts with the Circuit Clerk before relying on a figure.
